An em is a unit of measurement, the width of an uppercase M. It has a few handy uses in typography, alongside other units such as the “x height” and the “en.” No prizes for guessing what those measure.
An em is also a dash—like these two—used most often in conversational text and Emily Dickinson poems. They’re called em dashes because, surprise surprise, they’re the length of an M.
Em plays a small part of some big concepts. Emotion. Temptation. Demand. Achievement. For such a small word, it tends to find itself in the midst of greatness.
As for us, we’re more than just an agency. We’re a fun and dedicated group of storytellers, artists and techs. We’re honest—sometimes to a fault. We believe that every business has a distinct space in the market, a unique voice to be heard. And we’re great at what we do. Best of all? We’re fun to hang out with. You’ll like us. We swear.
